Characteristic Guidelines |
|
The following guidelines and categories are based on 30 years
of experience spent in the construction and manufactured housing
industries. |

|
There are no absolute criteria for
any of the following classifications. Further, no one feature
dictates that a home belongs to a given classification. This is a
general guideline to try and assist you, the consumer, with
assessing the characteristics of the different homes you are
looking into purchasing. We are willing to clarify any of the
details listed here in a more comprehensive manner should you have
any questions. |

Most manufacturers have more than one manufacturing
facility and build different models with varied specifications, so
make sure you know which model you are purchasing and what
category it belongs to and that you're satisfied with the
characteristics the home provides. It's extremely difficult
to build homes with the premium characteristics from any facility
other than a factory that primarily builds premium homes.
Adding lots of optional features to a home in a given category
makes it a higher ranked home in the same category, it doesn't
raise the home into a higher quality category. |
